Project Description:

The design concept for the Gunshop Cafe is to convert a space into a unique cafe in Westfield Chermside shopping centre. New to the scene but leaving a lasting impression. With a new fit-out and a nod to rustic/warm decor that it’s known for.

A space where people could feel connected and instantly find an attachment to the space subconsciously. Our idea is to use the previous The Gunshop Cafe design concept and to recreate in a completely different context. Organic, rough finishes are used on purpose, embracing the imperfection and manifests the transience nature of the commercial occupancy. With pure geometries in harmony with neutral tones, brick, timber and concrete materials.

To bring a familiar yet unique feel on multiple levels of the concept, by using warm, unfinished and modern elements in the interior, materials, and furniture. To deliver the overall feelings of characterised, calmness and environmentally-friendly.
